The second outpost of [[duke_rocha|Duke Rocha]]'s [[duchy_stronghold|Duchy Stronghold]] castellates a high stubby promontory on the West shore of the Second Rib in the [[mist-rib_lakes|Mist-Rib Lakes]].

The fortified escarpment juts into Second Rib Lake, making it all but impossible to be stormed across the narrow neck and up the steep coverless slope.  Even from the Harbor side, the approach is steep and forbidding under the high walls.  DR#2 offers a safe central fortress for [[duchy_stronghold|Duchy Stronghold]]'s northern farms and herders, and a center of trade with points South.
