Survivors of the [[hyborean_age|Hyborean Age]] assault on modern Earth told the [[party|party]] where to find his tower.  He demonstrated a number of alchemical preparations, and was recruited.

In particular he made:
  * Red powder (see ethereal/astral) - from snail - gave us 5-8 uses and the snail
  * Purple crystals (see future) - source unknown - gave us 1 use
  * White powder (see past) - source unkown - gave us 1 use
  * Blue powder (see weight of karma) - source unkown - gave us 3-4 uses

Completely mad, and badly addicted to his preparations, he threw himself into a time anchor coma with an OD.  [[blendin_blandin|Blendin Blandin]] rescued him and put him in a flask.
