Perhaps Arda's largest tidal bore, with tides of more than 50', the Firth of Durin runs along the Western edge of the [[tri_king_peninsula|Tri-King Peninsula]] at the Southern end of the [[tri_king_mountains|Tri-King Mountains]] to the royal harbor gates at [[tri_king_fortress|Tri-King Fortress]] itself.
