The R&D department of the [[field_engineering_corps|Field Engineering Corps]] is tasked with maintaining a conversation area with every creature comfort, good conversation, and open blackboards, as well as actively inviting superior intellects to participate and making them welcome.  The administrators delight in finding out what the favorite snacks and beverages are of talents they want to attract.

For promising ideas, they also make engineers available, and work with other organizations including the [[order_magika_mage_college|Order Magika]], [[church_of_eru|Church of Eru Ilùvatar]], the [[tinker_gnomes|Tinker Gnomes]], and the [[alchemists|Alchemists]] to provide skills they don't possess.
