Fortified lighthouse on [[shay_head|Shay Head]], guarding the Eastern approach to the [[dargonesti_narrows|Dargonesti Narrows]] and thence the [[dargonesti_sound|Dargonesti Sound]].  A breakwall improves an adequate small harborage on the inland side.
