Built on the historic site of Kharadûn, guarding the mouth of the [[norpul_river|Norpûl Estuary]], IN#40 is the Westernmost outpost of the Empire. It anchors the end of the Free Imperia's [[inland_waterway|inland waterway]] which cuts thousands of miles off sailing around the uttermost South. The local jungle tribes are strongly pro-empire, as it provides them with protection from their more warlike neighbors to the North.

The [[free_imperia_navy|Free Imperia Navy]] keeps several strong squadrons here, as their primary port on the Western Ocean.
