Nak  cannot  be  worked  except  with  a special  tool  and  cannot  be  damaged except  by  that  tool,  magic,  or extremely high temperatures. It reflects lightwand beams (see [[http://gobbi.free.fr/scenarii/I11%20-%20Needle.pdf|Needle]]) and is suitable for strong enchantment.

Produced by the Chak, phase spider folk living on a moon in [[arda:start|Arda]]'s system.

Nak is traded with the [[start|Free Imperia]], and the [[superbalas|Superbalas]] is being covered in it.  Personal armoring applications are being researched as well.
