The furthest North of [[duke_rocha|Duke Rocha]]'s fortress cities, Semboch is built on a well protected natural harbor on the [[great_silvanesti_bay|Great Silvanesti Bay]], anchoring [[duchy_stronghold|Duchy Stronghold]] to the Eastern Ocean.

One Eastern terminus of the [[inland_waterway|Great Inland Waterway Initiative]], it runs regular moat tanker shuttles to the headwaters of Seventh [[mist-rib_lakes|Mist-Rib Lake]], and is the primary route for the [[imperial_timber_operation|Empire's timber imports]] from I[[in38|N#38]].

Herding of llamas, sheep, alpacas, and goats provides fiber for winter gear, and shellfish dyes including a remarkable purple make the cloth famed across the Empire. Coupled with good fishing and maple trees, used in syrup and acerglyn production, the city maintains reasonable if bucolic prosperity.
