A fortified lighthouse warns vessels of the rocks off Pyramid Peak Point, on the Western shore of the Bight of Exile, about midway down the Ivory Peninsula.

The single mountain on the point is very pyramid shaped, but seemingly natural in origin. Among other things it is nearly 12 miles across the base of each remarkably regular side; surely no-one would build a pyramid that big, and if they did it must have been so long ago that sediment completely conceals it.

Still, there are local stories of lights moving erratically on the sides of the Pyramid late on moonless nights. One persistent rumor is that secret governmental projects take place there, though other versions attribute the lights to ghosts, mysterious rituals, or lost underground civilizations.

A modest but cheerful village has accreted around it as the Western Settlements have grown. They make a variety of good cider, home stilled scumble, and Pyramid Applejack and Brandy from the orchards that dot the Point.
