A strong fort guards the excellent natural harbor at the mouth of the Chennacatt River onto the Bight of Exile. A sizable squadron and garrison is stationed here to protect the river traffic taking the Great Inland Waterway Initiative shortcut through Iron Fist or Citadel City.

The excellent forest surrounding has led to many Harnic and some Krynnic elves settling nearby.

A very passable Chenacatt Lager is made locally, and frequently served with citrus slices that keep flies from crawling into the neck of the bottle. There is good trade in nuts and fruits, local pottery, and goods brought from longer distance.
