Built on the historic site of Kharadûn, guarding the mouth of the Norpûl Estuary, IN#40 is the Westernmost outpost of the Empire. It anchors the end of the Free Imperia's inland waterway which cuts thousands of miles off sailing around the uttermost South. The local jungle tribes are strongly pro-empire, as it provides them with protection from their more warlike neighbors to the North.

The Free Imperia Navy keeps several strong squadrons here, as their primary port on the Western Ocean.
