King Cormach's Eastern Capital, built around the mouth of the Stronghold River, flowing into the Dargonesti Sound from the cities of the Free Kingdom of Harnia and Duchy Stronghold. The Imperial Naval Fort #IN22 that was the original structure here has been faced with gold-veined marble traded from the Dwarves as a tribute to the volume and wealth of trade going through its harbors. The city has high walls studded with copious artillery forts along the Soundward and Shoreward sides, and large numbers of dwellings and villages spread either way along the shore.
A number of the shallow keeled vessels more popular as river craft are built in the shipyards here, which can do comprehensive repair work, from canoes and catamarans to large galleys of sixty or more oars.
The river turns great wheels that power weaving looms and workshops. Much of the cloth for the Empire is woven here, and the power hammers ring turning out great quantities of arms and armor.
