The Olyas Yard

The second Naval Outpost was built along the banks at the mouth of the Great Southern River (Q. Harduinë), where it enters the Firth of Olyas . The Eastern anchorage is further protected by a breakwall. Wet Navy and Spelljammer repairs and provisioning are readily available, though there is no construction of large hulls.
In the Second Age, this was the capital city of the rebellious son of the Fifth Nazgûl, which he called Kadar Abar-narîk (Ad. “Citadel of Iron Eagles”). He raised great support here, both among the Numenoreans and the native folk to resist his father's evil rule to the West.
Apart from a tantalizing reference in a children's skipping rhyme about driving the Storm King away, and barring a few ancient granite blocks serving as foundations for shepherds' huts, it is hard to tell the Numenoreans were ever here, and certainly the native population seems oblivious to their ancient history.
Most of them have been friendly, and they seem largely undisturbed by elves and magic. They herd cattle, sheep, and horses, and grow excellent pears and cherries from which they distill smoothly potent brandies.
The outer points of the channel mouth are guarded by two more Free Imperia Navy forts, IN#5 on the West, and IN#6 to the East on Imperial Point, the forested point of the Jojojopo Peninsula which separates the Firth of Olyas from the Jojojopo Forest Bay.
