Haven - Map: M25

Situated so that the headwaters of the Safehelm River provide a moat on three sides, with a wide artificial moat dug on the fourth, King Cormach's fortress city of Haven hosts a lock-tanker shuttle to the headwaters of the Monaco River. In addition to local trade with Baron Munchausen's folk of Monaco, this allows river traffic to cut some thousands of miles off the sea route around the Tri-King Mountains. This is the Southernmost terminus of the Great Inland Waterway Initiative. Traffic by those not of the Free Imperia, if approved, is willing to pay and to make political concessions for the use of the shorter route.
