A hundred miles down the Orróduinë, or East River from Black Rock, Odin's Folk maintain an outpost watching over the Northern approaches to the Sister Cities. Strong patrols guard the woodlands and riverbank, interfacing regularly with the Imperial Military patrols between IM#1 and IM#2, as well as the Northern ROUS and Axe Beak riders of Fairyland. They bring in venison and boar from the woods, and plentiful fish from the river, but few cultivated or manufactured goods are produced. Most of their supply comes from Black Rock or from East River trade. Caravans from Black Rock setting out on the long route to Vestrhelm make 100 mile adjustments here, adding or losing members, and taking on supplies, before heading East to IM#1 and OF#2, or North through the forest before cutting NE toward OF#3. As a result there are many inns, markets, and supply houses doing good business. River craft are built and repaired here, some deep hulled enough for ocean voyages, and sometimes with fanciful carvings of beasts pegged to the prow.
